Maersk Tankers recently went live with their mobility project, making warehouse as well as service and maintenance operations onboard their fleet of product tankers more digital. The project is deploying technology from BARTEC as well as ShipNet. With this tool, the service and maintenance operations team expect to have reduced costs, reduced downtime, improved asset management as well as improved HSE. The project features the Agile X tablet combined with ShipNet One Mobility software for Windows 10. The tablets has built-in barcode scanners, and full Windows 10 operating system combined with accessories such as docking and carry systems.
